Vagabond theme featured slider – help please

  Hi

  I am completely new to blogging and getting my head around all the coding etc.

  I think my theme https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/vagabond/ vagabond has a featured slider but I have no idea where to even start to add it to the home page.

  Please could someone help me from the beginning – do I need a plug in etc.
