Valid phone number and 2-step auth

I’m trying to activate again the Two-Step Authentication, but when I enter the phone number, it says it’s not valid. Well, my phone number is valid. Do you have any idea how to solve this problem?

I would suggest double checking your all your digits and making sure you have the right code, whether it be through sms or the phone app.
It is a straight forward process, so I would just suggest trying again

Forgive me for being plain, but please save me and other people who may face the same problem unwise answers. I raised the issue and expect a solution from WordPress staff, because the refusal of some numbers from a certain phone service provider is a WP kind of “bug”, not a problem of double checking. I’ve entered three different valid phone numbers of the same provider and WP refuses to accept each of them. And I don’t think WP expect its users to change phone service providers only to use WP security tools.
