  I have tried several times to follow the instructions to connect my blog up for SEO with Google and have been unsuccessful. Any tips?

  We cannot access metadata on free hosted WordPress.com blogs as we are all on the same multiuser bloggging platform and all blogs wearing the same theme are using the same underlying template. We cannot edit templates and themes and insert any metadata at all. http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/editing-themes/
