Validating e-mails and invalid activation codes help !

  Hi I am trying to create a static website for http://www.juliaridleydevelopmentmatters.com and it is constantly asking for the e-mail address to be confirmed ? when my friend goes on the e mail to activate the e mail it comes up with invalid activation key ? it will not let me set the site as a static home page is this because the e mail has not been confirmed ? I really need some detailed instructions on how to correct this problem , I thanks you in advance for any help ! We have already had the activation e mail re- sent by one of your staff members and it’s still not working !
