Validating Feed for Feedburner- HELP.
-
I’m trying to use Feedburner to enable “email to a friend” and other functionality. When I provide my address, http://brandsaredead.wordpress.com I get the following message:
Sorry
This feed does not validate.
line 1, column 30: XML parsing error: <unknown>:1:30: XML declaration not well-formed [help]
<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=””?>
^
Source: http://brandsaredead.wordpress.com/feed/<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=””?>
How do I fix that line of code and what should I use to fix it?

According to this validator, you feed fully validates: http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbrandsaredead.wordpress.com%2Ffeed%2F

Take note that “email to a friend” and offering “email updates to subscribers” are different. The latter choice is available for wordpress.com blogs and is easily set up following these instructions
http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/10/11/how-can-i-offer-email-updates/
The former requires a work around which is described here http://shongjog.wordpress.com/2008/03/24/automatically-create-email-this-features-for-wordpresscom-blog-posts-using-the-one-click-feedburner-bookmarklet/
