Vanished header in Chunk theme
-
Hi all,
My header image has mysteriously disappeared. It came and went a few times in the last couple of days and then vanished altogether, leaving a white space in the same dimensions as the old image. I tried to fix it by reuploading the old image (and previewed the CSS with the URL changed to match) but now the space has gone completely. Any help would be very much appreciated!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Correction: I went back and restored the header from the media library, but I’m still just seeing a white space where the image should be.

What is the URL of the blog your are experiencing this on?
What is the URL of the missing image?
Is the missing image in your Media Library?
It cannot be displayed if it is not there.
Did you use this guide? http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/#maintaining-your-custom-header -
The blog URL is http://www.ilkjournal.com
The missing image URL is http://ilkjournal.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/cropped-untitled1.jpg
Yes, the image is still in the media library.
No, I didn’t use that guide. The image was uploaded and the CSS customised over a year ago and the image has disappeared without me making any further changes to the CSS. -
I don’t help with CSS editing so another Volunteer or Staff will have to help you but I do know the link I posted above is relevant. The fact you have made no changes may not be relevant as if Staff makes changes to the template it effects all blogs wearing the same theme.

I figured out my mistake (I’d forgotten that what was labelled ‘Header Image’ in the media library was different from what I’d made the header in the CSS customization, and had accidentally deleted the true header). I’ve fixed it now. Thanks again for your advice, timethief!
