Vanishing links

    My WordPress blog has developed a problem in which I cannot insert links into the text without the linked text simply disappearing when I try to save the file being edited.

    I first noticed the problem when using the Websimon Tables plugin. I have created a number of large tables, and I was using the text in each cell as a link to aid with navigation for website users. The first table I completed had no problems, but as I worked on other ones, the text would disappear as soon as I pressed “save.” When I work with tables now, I can insert plain text and modify it with HTML (such as formatting language), but everything in a cell blanks out when a link is created and saved.

    I have a similar problem with regular pages. I can add text as needed, but when a link is inserted, the entire page becomes blank.

    Is this a problem anyone else has run into? I have worked with my web host to resolve the problem, which they thought might be related to traffic anomalies they discovered. They have apparently resolved that problem, which helped increase the site’s performance, but it hasn’t helped with the blanking out of text and pages.

    Any ideas?

    I am having this same problem today when I tried to update the following page http://diggingdottes.com/recommended-reading/ this page has links to an affiliate account on fishpond.com.au which I use to help monetize my blog and whenever I try to save the updates to the page, half the links are disappearing.

    Means:

    The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.
