vanishing stats

  A couple of my friends have recently been posting less frequently than normal. I asked why and they complained that they were getting fewer and fewer visitors and sometimes they felt they were writing exclusively for themselves. I too have had a falloff in visits, which I had put down to posting less frequently due to pressure of work. So we decided to check our stats. Personally I was staggered at the results, which showed that a whole bunch of visits simply did not register on my stats page. Have you an explanation as to why this should happen?

  I’ve got exactly the same issue on my blog so I think there must be a technical issue going on

  Hello Wendy. Let’s not beat about the bush. Do you have any reason for believing that you may be a target? I will confess here and now that there are those, and many of them, whom would prefer that bloggers like me simply did not exist. Do you fall into this category? It is always possible that there is another good reason but we should get rid of the obvious straightaway.
