Vanishing text and posting tool menu

In the last day I’ve been having a problem with my post page, with all posts whether new or existing. I first noticed that after I saved a post I was working on, there was nothing in the text box but red squiggles, which suggested to me that there was text there that was invisible to me. When I highlighted it, sure enough, there it was. So was the code, but I thought I had been using the Visual version rather than the HTML one. When I tried to click on the Visual tab above the box, it did nothing. It was then that I noticed the menu was totally missing. I thought it might have been taking a while to load, but, no, it wasn’t loading at all. I thought the problem might have something to do with Firefox, so I downloaded Chrome. It was fine the first time I tried to edit the post that had been saved to my drafts. I’d been working on in it in a Word 2003 document, so I cut and pasted the new text into the post, then saved the draft. When it was finished saving, the text box looked empty (the text was just invisible until I highlighted it) and the menu was missing. What is going on and how can I fix it? (I’ve already tried clearing the cache and it didn’t work.)

i’ve had the same problem using entirely different hard and software for the past day also. it must be systemic.

I just looked at another thread with the same problem. If you’re using AdBlock, just add your blog to the the whitelist. Right click on tjhe Adblock icon, go to options, click on the whitelist tab, and add your blog. The problem should clear up immediately.
