Hi there,
I understand that you might be feeling a little frustrated at the moment, and I’m here to clarify things as best I can.
WordPress is an open-source software developed, maintained, and supported by a community of volunteers. Open-source means that anyone can use, modify, or build upon the software for free.
Hosting providers, including us (WordPress.com), take this WordPress software and install it on their servers. Users like yourself, can then use this platform to create websites. While we at WordPress.com, specialize in providing WordPress hosting services, we only have the capacity to offer support for websites that are directly hosted on our platform.
Don’t worry, though. The WordPress community is always ready to help. You can seek support for the WordPress software, including the WooCommerce plugin that you need help with, through the community forums. Here are the links for your reference:
WordPress Support Forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/WooCommerce Support Forum:
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerceThese forums have volunteers who are experts on various aspects of the platform and the plugins. You can post your questions or issues there, and someone from the community will provide guidance or suggestions.
I hope this helps clarifies things the differences between the WordPress software and the WordPress.com hosting platform.
