Various problems- domain name, language settings, facebook link

    I am having all kinds of problems. I can’t get the language settings to be just in english although I have set to english. German keeps showing up. Secondly, my web address doesn’t seem to work and seems to be spelled out dotcom.wordpress.com although I paid for the customized domain of .com and lastly (for this request), I am having difficulty linking to facebook. Can someone please help me with these items??

    1) We can’t help unless we can see where this German shows up, so give us a direct link to where you see it.

    2) That’s the web address you got because you typed in whatyouwanted.com and you cannot get a custom domain like that unless you purchase the domain (it’s $5 a year if you buy it from WP.com) and also purchase the domain mapping upgrade for $13 a year, which connects the domain name to the blog. You might as well go ahead and do that, and then the URL you have will be invisible.

    3) You have to register an underlying whatever.wordpress.com URL before you can attach a custom domain to it.

    4) How are you attempting to link to Facebook? What information are you putting in where? A widget? Publicize? Manually posting links?
