VAT on Domain subscription

  Hi there,

  I have added my company VAT number for the VAT receipt, but in the receipt is shows as 0% VAT. Can I just double check, is the domain subscription exempt of VAT? Or am I getting a 0% VAT receipt because I have a personal plan? The website is a portfolio of my business therefore a personal plan is best suitable. Please advise.

  Thank you for reaching out to us! The reason you see 0% VAT for your Personal plan is that we only began collecting VAT for the UK starting on January 30, 2023. Therefore, the tax was not collected during your plan renewal in September 2022.

  Rest assured, your next renewal will reflect the VAT appropriately, so you don’t need to worry about that. Everything is set for your upcoming renewal!

  What about the domain registration that was renewed on 5th march 2023? Does this includes VAT? My last invoice shows 0%VAT. Please advise.
