Vaultpress Backup Error Help?

I am trying to get my the latest Vaultpress Backup plugin connected and synced to my site to run correctly. I’ve been using the other old original Vaultpress for years before this. Now I’m trying to install this one that is through Jetpack and WP.com and it is getting stuck on the connection configuration. I’m getting the error “site_url can not be empty. [vp_api_error, null]”. That’s all that happens time and time again. I’ve tried every way to arrange or setup or do something else with it but always the same error and no sync or progress or anything. Any ideas? How can I solve this?
