I’m afraid I’m not sure what you mean.
Could you tell me more about what you mean by verification code and where you would like it to go in your menu?

Hi Lizthefair,
thank you in advance for your help.I have to add a verification code to mij .com blog. Currently wordpress.com only has options for Pinterest, Google, Bing, Twitter and Yandex. I need to add a code to mij <header> for a site called Daisycon, which allows you to earn money for clicks when publishing a post on a brand that is in their portfolio.
In short: I need to add a <meta> tag to my <header>, which I cannot do using the wordpress.com Admin menu.
thank you

You can’t do that because you do not have access to the header.

Hi Galois,
yes that is actually my problem. BUT for certain sites WordPress does foresee a way to add tags in the header. Is there no similar option to add a meta tag of another site to it?

Yes, for WordPress.org sites is possible.
But for WordPress.com sites (like http://ktoblogt.wordpress.com/) is impossible.
The reason: you do not have access to the header on WordPress.com sites. -

Galois is right. There are some differences between what’s possible on WordPress.com sites and self hosted WordPress sites. You can learn more about those differences here.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org
If connecting to Daisycon.com is essential for your site, I’m happy to help you move to a self hosted site.
