Verification Code Sent to Former Employee’s Inaccessible Email
-
Dear WordPress Support Team
My name is Mahdi Sadeghnejad, and I am the IT Department Manager at Zarin Kav Lian.
I am writing to seek urgent assistance regarding our company’s website, which is built on WordPress. The site was originally designed by the previous IT Manager using WordPress, and I have since completed a redesign, also utilizing the same platform.
The critical issue is that the former IT Manager’s email address was registered as the primary administrative or recovery email for the WordPress installation. As this individual is no longer with our company, we have no access to that email inbox.
Currently, WordPress is preventing my access by requiring a verification code that has been sent to that inaccessible email address. This is blocking me from logging in and performing necessary administrative tasks.
Could you please advise on the necessary and immediate steps I must take to regain full administrative access to our website? We urgently require a method to update the administrative email to my current professional address and bypass the current verification block.
Thank you for your immediate attention to this critical matter. I look forward to your prompt guidance.
Sincerely,
Mahdi Sadeghnejad IT Department Manager Zarin Kav Lian Group – (email visible only to moderators and staff)
