I have a student trying to access our class blog (engcomp3w15.wordpress.com), but has not received a verification email after he signs up for an account. This seems to be a similar issue, so I’d love any help if possible.

Hi there,

Also can I Change my blog link from santoshviswanatham.wordpress.com to viswanathamsantosh.wordpress.com?
http://viswanathamsantosh.wordpress.com is no longer available.The authors have deleted this site.
No is the answer. Simply stated you can’t register any deleted blog URL because deleting any blog URL is a permanent and irreversible act, just as the multiple warnings required to accomplish site deletion clearly state. Once the verification link for deletion is clicked the blog URL is forever gone, gone, gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

@santoshviswanatham-
I see that you deleted the site. Please register the name that you wanted and see if you get the verification email for that. As @timethief stated please check the Spam/Junk folder.

Thanks for your quick response!
My student’s email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff). He has signed up for an account, but has not received a verification email.
I’ve been in contact with him today, and will let him know to keep an eye out.
