Verify Domain Ownership Google Apps

  I am trying to set up Google Apps and am at the point of Verifying Ownership.

  I have already saved the DNS records through the WordPress Store.

  Google Apps is recommending that I
  “Add a DNS record to your domain’s configuration” to verify ownership.

  Is this the best option for verifying ownership for Google Apps?

  If so, who is my domain registrar or provider if I purchased by domain through WordPress?

  In your following documentation I got to step 10 and then the google apps choice changed and I instead have to “Add a DNS record to your domain’s configuration” to verify ownership.

  Did you use the CNAME option as detailed in step 7?
