verify email address

  I am trying to verify my email address to get started with WordPress. When I click on the button in the verification email sent to me, I get the following error message: ‘404-File on Directory Not Found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.’ I have been getting this message for over a week. Thanks for your help.
