verify email problem

    I am trying to verify my email address but it will not send it to me. I have gmail and yes, I’ve checked Spam and it isn’t there. Tried resending it and nothing. I’ve spent an hour searching online trying to figure this out and am frustrated now because it seems pretty simple to get an email. I did have to reset my password and wordpress sent that email so I know it is possible. Just cannot figure out why it isn’t sending the one to allow me to verify my email.
