Verify that I should have received an email from secureserver.net about my domai

  I received an email from secureserver.net that asked me to verify my email address because I had just bought my domain name. The email looked unprofessional. Not like it came from anyone wordpress would do business with.

  Hi there,

  Yes, you should respond to that email. It comes directly from our registrar, and is a result of a recent change in ICANN regulations (the body that governs domain registrations) requiring that registrants verify their email address when registering a new domain.

  We are aware that this email is not consistent with your experience here, and are working to resolve that shortly.
