Verify wordpress.com blog with pinterest

  I am trying to verify my wordpress blog with pinterest. I have been using the meta-tag option that pinterest provides. I copied the pinterest meta-tag to the tools section of my wordpress account. Then I hit ‘save changes’ I have tried this multiple times, and it still isn’t working. Please help
