verifying domain through google

I am trying to switch my email from godaddy to google apps. google requires me to verify that the domain is mine, and tries to do so by attempting to change some DNS settings through godaddy, but as I understand it my DNS side of things is managed by wordpress. I found a tutorial saying I could add a plugin via the wordpress dashboard but I do not see that anywhere on my dashboard. I would like to know what to do so that I can get email through gmail instead of godaddy.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I discovered what to do by reading the following after searching the menus further: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/custom-dns/dns-records/

    Hi there,

I’m glad you were able to figure out your email. :)

Please note that it is not possible to install plugins on WordPress.com, for security reasons. Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress blogs. If you are wondering how WordPress.com differs from WordPress.org, this support article explains the distinction:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

If you don’t find what you are looking for, just let me know what you’d like to achieve with a plugin, and I’ll help you find a solution.

    Cheers!
