Verifying domain with google

  I’ve followed your instructions on how to verify with Google using the ‘alternate’ method but my wordpress domain (mummy overseas.wordpress.com) doesn’t have a ‘name and DNS’ field to copy the text across. Hope that makes sense. thanks.

  Since you don’t have a custom domain, then all you need to do is copy the meta tag in its entirety from your site’s Google Search Console page and paste it on the appropriate line in your site’s Settings>SEO Dashboard.
