verifying email address

  I have signed up and can not publish anything as its asking me to verify my email address. No email is being sent to my email address for me to do this. I have pressed the re send email button many times however still no email email has come through. Please help.

  Hello there!

  First I’d like you to confirm that the email address you’re checking is the one that’s listed on this page for you https://wordpress.com/me/account

  If it isn’t, changing it to the correct address should resend the verification email and allow you to continue working on your awesome new site!

  If the email is correct, have you checked your spam/junk mail folder? Or if you’re using gmail your “social” tab?

  If neither of these are the problem you’ll need some help above my paygrade! Just in case, I’ll tag this thread modlook so we can start getting you the help you need.
