Verifying email nightmare
-
Background…
i purchased my domain a few years ago and I am finally ready to start building my website. upon logging into my wordpress account for the first time an 2 years I see a message that say my domain will be suspended if I do not verify my email. So I clicked the button that re-sends the verification email but the email would not show up (I triple checked all folders)…I chatted with an engineer from wordpress and he advised that the email they had on file was ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ when my actual email is ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’. He then gave me the instructions on how to update the the email that wordpress has on file
The problem…
In order for the changes to be processed they must be accepted via email by the old ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ and the new ”(email visible only to moderators and staff)’. The issue is, i dont have access to old ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ because that was a typo when the domain was registered. My question…
How can I verify my email before my account is suspended? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
Thanks timethief!
ICANN (the organ that regulates domains on the internet) has changed the rules for when you need to change your domain contact information, so now both old and new emails need to confirm the change. Your case is special since you can’t access the old one anymore. We’ll need to do this manually by request. I’ll close this post and follow up with you by email. Make sure to check your inbox!
Cheers!
