Verifying ICANN

  Hi there,

  I’m trying to transfer another site (DNS) onto my wordpress domain (chrisformant.com). When I go the the change DNS section, I’m asked to ‘verify the account’ by sending an email. I’m a new admin on the site, and needed to change the email address where the verification email is sent. I updated it in the profile and resent the verification and received nothing. I’m not sure what’s happening, and I’m a little nervous about the transfer as I’ve already pointed the site to the new DNS via my hosting service (Network Solutions). Can you please help?

  Hi there,

  You are an admin on the site, but you are not the owner of the domain.

  Only the domain owner can make changes to a domain’s DNS or transfer a domain.

  But it also looks like you have sorted this out as the domain contact email is showing as verified, and the name servers are pointing to worldnic.com.

  Please let me know if you need any more help with this.
