verifying ownership of a blog from 2015
-
Hello,
I started blogging around the beginning of 2013. after 2.5 years or so, I needed to stop due to personal issues I faced. Some time afterward I stopped using the emails I created the account with. Unfortunaetly I also replaced my phone number… I would like to recover the blog, but due to the facts stated – today I cannot trace any evidence of ownership. I understand that you need to protect accounts. Perhaps these 2 facts will help verify my ownership: 1. There was a time when I bought a paid domain for this blog, I can give you the domain name for proving my connection to this blog. 2. I still own a Facebook page for this blog – and I can verify the ownership of this page. Can these 2 facts help me get back the ownership? Thanks a lot -
What is the URL of the site you are trying to access? We’ll be happy to take a look and see if we can help.

Can you look in your records to find the payment?
If so, you can use the secure account recovery form with the payment ID:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/transaction-id/#if-you-dont-have-access-to-the-receiptJust be sure you don’t share it in public.
Here’s how to get to the form:

Hi, I cant. It was around 2014: since I had to stop all my activities in 2015, I also closed the bank account related to my business. I have new accounts now. Can we make this conversation private? Ill be more comfortable offering solutions to make you sure of my identity… :) thx a lot

Hi there,
If you aren’t able to provide an email from the email address with which the blog was registered or a transaction ID, then we won’t be able to help you recover access to it. We cannot accept any other proof of ownership such as ID, Facebook page, etc.
We have a strict policy in place to protect our users from third parties who might try to use our support system to gain access to other users’ accounts.
