Verifying Pinterest via a WordPress.com blog

  I am using the instructions on wordpress forums to verify Pinterest on my wordpress.com blog via meta tag-but it is not working. Everytime I enter the tag and save the changes-wordpress changes the tag to something completely different and then Pinterest will not let me verify.

  Pinterest has secret boards and links to these don’t work in WordPress.
  Is this a factor in your case?
  If not, did you try using another browser?

  @thelittleredowl We noticed some issues with the domain verification about a week ago. Pinterest said they were working on the bugs but that the domain verification process was still technically working.

  Are you still unable to verify your domain?
