verifying process for new subdomain mapping upgrade

  I’m pretty sure I understand about subdomain mapping but wanted to ask if anyone has general advice or “to do’s” when I do this.

  I’d like to start a new blog for an existing website, and I understand that I want to upgrade to “subdomain mapping” so that my blog on my existing URL looks like this:

  http://blog.myexistingdomain.com

  So I basically order the subdomain maping upgrade, and then there is the CNAME change at my registrar for this subdomain.

  Other than that, it looks very easy and straightfoward.

  I was just wondering if anyone has any other advice or “to do’s” that I need to be aware of and do for my first-time subdomain mapping.
