Verse Block distorted in Reader

    Hello clever WP people. Help!

    In my most recent post (Valletta, Malta) I used a verse block for some text extracts. However when the post is accessed from the Reader (both app and browser), it only shows a few lines and will not expand or move to allow the remainder to be viewed, if you go to the site via a browser it is fully viewable. I’d add screen shots but I don’t see a means to.

    Are you speaking of https://justmeamg.wordpress.com/2022/03/18/valletta-malta/?

    I don’t see any verse blocks in that post, only paragraph blocks, and it’s looking fine to me in the Reader.

    If you replaced the verse blocks with paragraph blocks, please edit the post back to how it was and let us know so we can take a look. But we can’t really diagnose a problem that we cannot see :)

    Thank you for replying. I switched the blocks to paragraph, which styled them the way I was hoping.

    It seems that the verse block doesn’t paginate to fit the blog design, it’s as if you have to add the carriage returns to fit the space.

    I’ll see if I can replicate the issue in a different blog post and post the link.
