Verse blocks
-
I tried to post something and the whole post turned into a verse block. How do I return to normal paragraph blocks? Honestly, editing HTML is easier than switching between blocks.

Hi –
Which post did this happen on?
I’d suggest copying the content and saving it. Then delete the Verse block and add it again as a paragraph block.
Are you pasting the material in from somewhere else?

I wrote it in android’s memo app. Then I copy and pasted it into WordPress. When I found out, i grouped the whole post into one block and tried to post it again in a new post but it didn’t help.

Did you know that you can download the WordPress mobile app? That way there’s no need to use third-party apps to write your posts on the mobile.
As for the post in question, if you edit it now, you can change it to a Paragraph Block just as you changed it into a Group before:
If you would like to divide it into various paragraphs, click Enter after the sentence where you want the space to appear.

I have the ap but I back up my posts in memos on my phone and notepad on my computer. WordPress has had saving issues.

Ah, I see. Not sure if you know you can now even publish your posts when you’re offline:
