  How can I find which version of WordPress I am using? I cannot find it anywhere. Please provide specific steps to locate it as I am downloaded a purchased template that only works with some versions of WordPress.

  If you’re asking about the site linked in your post, you cannot use themes purchased elsewhere. You can only select from the 200 or so in the themes library.

  By template, do you mean something other than a theme?

  No, I mean theme through Template Monster, who has an agreement with WordPress. In order for my purchased theme to be customized, I need to know which version of WordPress I am using. Thanks.

  You may referring to some agreement with wordpress.ORG which provides the software for self-hosted sites.

  Such themes/templates may not be used on wordpress.COM sites.

  I just need to know where to find which version of WordPress I am using. Where can I find it in my account? Templates not the issue.

  The only theme you can use are the ones from WordPress.COM

  Dashboard >> Appearance >>Themes >> if the theme is not here then you can’t use it – period

  you are running the most recent version of WordPress software but as noted above – you can’t install ANY outside custom theme
