version and update
-
I am trying to figure out what is the version of my blog wordpress.com. Secondly, I do not see the setting Privacy in my dashboard. Thanks a lot, kind regards.
The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff).

Visit: http://ismyblogworking.com/ – put in the address of the blog in question to view your version.
As for privacy settings; navigate to Settings > Reading from your Dashboard. Your privacy settings should be under Site Visibility.
Visit https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/

Hi thanks, I used the tool ismy but I do not see the version.
With Privacy setting, I meant that I can not find in settings the Privacy Policy page in WordPress administration panel. Maybe is the version of my blog too old for this. -
Hi there,
To access the Privacy feature, a WordPress Business or eCommerce Plan is required. If you do not have that, you would need to upgrade your WordPress plan.

Additionally, there is no need to verify your WordPress.com version. The Staff does all of that for us. So your version will not hinder your functionality.
Hope this helps.

Hi there!
@saramanzi, I understand that you’re asking about the WordPress version used on your blog? All sites on WordPress.com are using the newest version of WordPress software; you can find more information here:https://wordpress.com/support/php-environment/.
@chipman27, the upgrade is only needed to use the Privacy Policy tool, but you are free to add a Privacy Policy page regardless of your plan, as explained on the page you linked above.
