Version number and update.

  The version of wordpress does not display in the right now area of dashboard. It just displays the theme and number of widgets.
  The footer does not display it or show update to new version either.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  So? And this is a problem why?

  You can’t change the version number anyway – the staff takes care of that – we run a version here that is more current than what you can get at WordPress.ORG

  Ok thanks.
  I am trying to pull my blog into my photoshelter website on the new Beam platform (beta) and it asks say the version of WordPress needs to be version 1.5 or later.
  It is quite likely that Beam is the issue. The blog tab just keeps on diplaying the loading bar when i add the WordPress URL to it.
