  Because of the recent botnet problem, I am supposed to ensure that the latest version of WordPress is installed. How would I do that?

  If you are referring to a free hosted WordPress.com blog then free your mind from worrying Staff do all upgrades here and our version is actually a higher version than the 3.5.1 version available to WordPress.ORG users who are under botnet attack.
