Version of WordPress

  Hey guys,

  I’m having trouble finding out what version of WordPress I am using. It doesn’t say at the bottom and I couldn’t find it in the source code. Any help would be appreciated.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.com is a custom version of the software. Basically, they use us for beta-testing, so we are normally about three months ahead of the most current version of WP.org.

  ok it’s 3.6 from the looks of it so if we’re 3 months ahead…does that mean we’re 3.9?

  No. As I said, we’re on a customized version which includes bits of past and future iterations. It’s a very rough equivalency.

  Wait I have another question then. How can I install plugins an such to my wordpress? Do I have to have premium in order to do that?

  You can’t on WordPress.com sites.

  @raincoaster is correct as looking at the dashboard the WP.com version is WAAAAY more futuristic. However it doesn’t have everything.
