Vertical images become horisontal

    Hi,

    Whenever I upload images which are in vertical format, they appear on my blog as horisontal. There is no function that I can see which allows me to rotate the images within WordPress. This is so frustrating as I am limited to only upload images which are shot in horisontal mode only. Please help if you can!

    There are some image editing programs that do not actually rotate the images. They keep changes in a file and then when you open the image, they read the file and apply the changes.

    You need to open the image up in your image editing program, rotate the image if necessary and then “export” or do a “save as” and then make sure the image is actually rotated before uploading it.

    This is a typical issue with the image editing programs that come with cameras and also with iPhoto on Macs.
