Vertical/Portrait Pictures being converted to landscape

  I’m trying to move my photoblog site from blogger to WordPress but I’m running into a pretty critical issue of vertical/portrait pictures being converted to horizontal/landscape during upload. I’ve searched and found multiple questions about this issue but no answer.

  All of these are vertical and are showing up vertical on the mac pro I’m using. is this an issue with the mac I’m using that can be easily corrected elsewhere, or is it a wordpress issue?

  Thanks… All I had was unedited pictures on hand. Sorry for wasting time.
