Very Confused on How to Get Started

    Hi, I’m clearly new to WordPress. I want to make a child theme of my site’s current theme, but I don’t know where to start actually coding this. I’m using wordpress on my browser and can’t find the files that every tutorial mentions. I’ve checked multiple tutorials, and can’t figure out how to download wordpress to get those files. I’m using BlueHost, and I can’t find the option there. The site is up and running, just not customized the way I want to. Any help on this is appreciated.
