Very frustrated

  I was going through the blog builders step by step on setting up. When hit theme & customize. I put site title and tag line. Then he said to save & publish it. My site never gave me save & publish only publish. I hit publish & now it is published & I can not figure out how to undue that. I also went ahead & just tried to set up a different theme. I am never given the back arrow to go to dash board & publish is always the only option. I have spent hours on this. Please help.
