For themes on WordPress.com you don’t need to download anything, the themes are “built in”. Please have a look at this help page for more information on themes on WordPress.com – https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/
Hope this helps …

If you are referring to http://shamusthegreat.wordpress.com/ or any other WordPress.COM hosted blog you are confusing WordPress.COM hosted blogs with WordPress.ORG installs. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons and we cannot upload any third party themes.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
The only themes we can use on WordPress.com hosted blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes
There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons and we cannot:
upload any third party themes,
create child themes,
create our own themes,
edit templates,
create own own layouts,
or use stylesheets from other themes.Relevant support docs:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/There is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.
WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can create themes, upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, and edit the database, etc. If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.

If you downloaded a version of a theme for a WordPress>ORG install and failed to post the URL here then you are posting to the wrong support forum. We do not provide any support at all for WordPress.ORG software installs.
If that is the case then you are posting to the wrong support forum.

Thanks for the quick responses! I went to gorilla themes and they said that they were wordpress themes. Now I’m confused hahaha

That theme is not for use on a WordPress.COM blog at all.
It is for use only on a WordPress.ORG install.
If you intend to have your blog remain hosted here at WordPress.COM get a refund. -
