very similar domain name

  Hello my name is amber,
  I am new to word press and I am new to blogging.
  Finding the right domain name that suits me is proving to be difficult.
  I think I have finally found one however there is a blog already in google search that comes up that is very similar (one word difference)

  (alot of similar domain names also come up with a few different words thrown in)

  mine: justyouraverageblonde
  hers: notjustyouraverageblonde

  she has no content on there other then an about me page and a brief description on the side of the home page.

  I’m unsure of what to do, i have put my domain name through checkers and have all come back clear, however i know people can be sued based on similar domain name.

  What is your advise?

  go for your name

  unless someone has I think a trademark on a name – should be good – also people can get in trouble for impersonating a company or someone else

  I gave up counting how many versions of captnmike there are on the web – never had some much as a single email from any of them –
