very simple question that I just can't figure out

    new blog. want sidebar gone. I want my blog to look like the Superhero template. What the heck am I doing wrong? Frustrated isn’t even the word….
    My goal: to have the custom header fully across the top of the blog. Seems so simple…

    Howdy,

    To make sure we’re on the same page, do you mean the large image that says “Gotham Sure Is A Big Town” as an inlayed caption on the http://superherodemo.wordpress.com site?

    If so, that’s done as a featured content piece, meaning it’ll pull in the latest posts with a specific tag and displayed the featured image from that post there.

    Specific instructions for Superhero for this can be found at http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/superhero/

    Featured images are added from the post editor page from whatever post you’re editing. Screenshots of where this is can be found at Featured Images.
