Video

I have a Premium account. Yesterday I posted my first video blog; however, it did not imbed. The only thing visible on my blog is a URL. The video press feature is one of the main reasons I paid $99 for a premium account.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Howdy,

Can you edit your post ( at https://fortcollinsbiomechanics.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=226&action=edit ) and place the URL on a line by itself?

When it’s on a line byself, the system will process it as something you with to embed, rather than just link to, and will convert it over.

If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks!

    Hi,

Thanks for your response. That is actually what I did the first time I posted; however, I went through and re-posted as you advised and it still didn’t work. Was my account not updated when I made my 12 November payment? I am frustrated by this. I am travelling and have limited access to the internet/computers and it is important that the blogs I am able to post actually appear as they are supposed to.

  • Hi Johnny,

I’ve fixed it for you. I should have been more detailed in my last message—it needs to be on a line by itself and not linked. Otherwise, the system will assume you meant to have it linked instead.

The VideoPress feature on WordPress.com Premium allows you to upload your videos directly to WordPress—not requiring you to upload to YouTube first. You can embed YouTube videos without the upgrade.

If you’d like to make changes to your account, I’d be happy to do so and refund any difference. The Premium bundle includes the following features: http://store.wordpress.com/bundles/

    Cheers!
