Video and Featured Content

  Is there a way to use a featured image for the featured image gride, but stop the featured image from displaying when the post is open?

  I would like to use a video still picture in the featured content area, which then links to the video when you click on the post. With the featured image appearing it looks like two video screens.

  Alternatively, is there a way to use the video itself in the featured content highlights?

  I don’t believe it is possible to suppress the post’s featured image from displaying again in the post as a part of Canard’s theme options. It might be possible to do so with the Custom Design and CSS upgrade, which is part of the Premium or Business bundle.

  A featured image has to be uploaded to WordPress.com, so here again, I don’t believe you’ll be able to use the video itself as the featured image in your post.
