Video clips – embed codes

  Dear Forum,

  I am having problems with some embed codes.

  If I use You-Tube there is no problem.

  If I use some embed codes wordpress automatically reduces them and they don’t work.

  For example

  <script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://www.democracynow.org/embed_show_v1/300/2011/12/2″></script>

  and

  Can you help?

  We are not allowed to use javascript, flash or iframe codes in wp.com blogs, for security reasons.

  Flash code can be used if converted to a gigya shortcode – see here:
  http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/07/22/gigya-shortcode-3-widgets/

  Doesn’t apply to the flash example you pasted above, however, because that example contains javascript as well.

  The clips I want to embed are at

  My knowledge of html is very limited. Can I create embed code that is not javascript or flash (the ones you restrict). You-tube is obviously acceptable but I don’t really know why. I just want to make the things show on my blog. I loaded the second clip onto you-tube and it was censored by the owner. I don’t want this to happen again.

  With the help of the website I have made an acceptable workaround
