video clips in blog post
-
I would like to post a video clip to my blog. When I do, it just comes up as the url, instead of the actual clip. Is there a way to have the clip in the post, so that my readers don’t have to click the link to take them to the clip? My question is about http://www.trustinghisplan.wordpress.com
Thanks for any help!

The video embeds that WordPress.com supports for all of our blogs – no upgrade required. http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/
For a Flash workaround see here > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/07/22/gigya-shortcode-3-widgets/

You can upload video files only as premium feature. As free user you can upload a video for example to YouTube. Then you can copy the source code from YouTube (embedding video) and paste it in your post (HTML-View).

This blogger is not referring to their own videos. I visited the blog and as far as I can tell the blogger wishes to post videos from sources ie. news sites that are not supported by WordPress.com.

@Sandra
In the vent that you wish to post your own videos please see here documentation here? http://en.support.wordpress.com/videopress/ Note that if you first upload your videos to youtube or another supported site then you do not need to purchase the upgrade. -

You are correct, I am not wanting to post my own videos, just ones like what you see in my blog. Thank you for trying to help me, but I’m not sure I understand the directions that you pointed me to. :-( I am not very computer savvy….is there another place that explains it in a more step by step way for people like me??
Thanks!
