video content
-
Hello, is it possible to add video to my site: and to create a subscription based content page (with video and services open to subsribers?)
-
Hi there!
Yes, you can add a video to your site on plans Premium and above. There are a few ways in which you can create a membership website. You can follow these steps:
https://wordpress.com/support/tutorials/build-a-membership-website-tutorial/
and combine that with our Recurring Payments feature:
https://wordpress.com/support/recurring-payments/
Another way of doing this would be with a membership plugin, but that would require plan Business:

Let me know if you have any more questions regarding that.

Thank you so much! Can you please tell me is 24/7 customer service available to help talk me through these upgrades and help me when I am adding video, and a paywall? Is it possible to schedule appointments for help? And what are the fees for the upgraded services? Thank you!

Hi there,
If you upgrade to any of our plans you get access to our 24/7 live chat and email support. You can see our plans prices here:
https://wordpress.com/pricing/
Furthermore, you can book a Quick Start session and have a one-on-one screensharing conversation with us. More details and pricing for that service can be found here:

Thank you so much! Is it possible to create an online shop with video classes for sale? Or does this overload the site and create a slow upload for clients when visiting my site?
-
On our Business Plan you can also sell your video classes on your site, using an ecommerce plugin like WooCommerce, yes.
Doing this should not have any impact on the usability of your site.

Thank you so much! Would this also allow me to create courses like the platforms Teachable and Thinkific do?
-
That would definitely be possible with https://woocommerce.com/products/sensei/
We also have an option besides WooCommerce that we’ve detailed at https://wordpress.com/blog/2020/03/26/move-your-classes-online/
