VIDEO EMBED NOT WORKING

  Hi There

  I want to know what is wrong with the video embed? I do not need shortlinks as a link is a link and an embed well its an embed, so i ca actually show the video on my website. Other embeds are there from before but today cannot embed is this a wordpress issue

  What you have said does not make an ounce of sense, I am not shouting at all, you are replying to threads which is nice and all but you are not actually providing any useful information, so stop replying to threads of this nature until you do.

  If there was another way to embed a video from youtube in a page, you should have just said it, if not then do not reply telling me to search through threads as if I caused the problem myself.

  And do not add your welcome at the end of your message as if you have done me a favour.

  listen I am trying to use the WIDGET (text) for arbitrary HTML the shortlink does not work within that widget so what is the solution for that, can I find that in the threads aswell…just by looking?

  Where is the reference to “video in text widget” in what you originally posted above and in the mulitple threads you posted to?

  yes I did not mention that I do apologise, however I still specifically mentioned embedding a video (strictly) embedding so yes it still pertains.

  What you showed me or the links referred to me is outdated as the giga shortcode works when youtube allows you to embed in the old way, that option is not present.
