Video Embed question

  • Unknown's avatar

Before upgrading to premium, I want to know if all video embed codes would be seen like in WordPress.org – i.e. the following:
    <script type=’text/javascript’ src=’http://CBSLA.images.worldnow.com/interface/js/WNVideo.js?rnd=938266;hostDomain=video.losangeles.cbslocal.com;playerWidth=345;playerHeight=194;isShowIcon=true;clipId=9681483;flvUri=;partnerclipid=;adTag=News;advertisingZone=CBS.LA%252Fworldnowplayer;enableAds=true;landingPage=;islandingPageoverride=false;playerType=STANDARD_EMBEDDEDscript_EMBEDDEDscript;controlsType=overlay’></script>

    Please advise. Thanks!
    Take care,
    Kimberly

    Hi there!

WordPress allows embedding of video from the following:

You can embed videos from many video services on your WordPress.com blog for free. Upload your video to any of these services and then embed it on your site by following these instructions: YouTube, Vimeo, Hulu, Flickr, Animoto, DailyMotion, Viddler, Blip.tv, TED Talks, Educreations, Instagram, AolOn, Vine, and Videolog.

    Working With Video

And the Premium account would allow you to host your video on WordPress.com through their VideoPress feature:

VideoPress is lightweight and responsive video player that allows you to host and embed videos in your site and more. VideoPress works on all modern browsers and devices, and ensures beautiful playback on any screen size, from smartphones to desktops.

I’m not sure if that’s exactly what you were asking, though. Let me know if I missed your question.

    Kind regards,
    Jason
